Gujarat Chief Minister talks with front-line warriors treating COVID-19 patients, also with police and medical personnel recovering from virus

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani talked with the doctors and other medical personnel treating COVID-19 patients day-and-night as front-line warriors as part of their noble duty at the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad from his residence here through videoconferencing.

Rupani on behalf of the people of the state congratulated the front-line warriors for their undaunted spirit of service-before-self. He asked them to take enough care of their own health and immunity, not to get infected. He also inquired if they have adequate protective equipment and gears like PPE kits and N-95 masks.

The Chief Minister also talked to police and medical personnel themselves undergoing treatment having got infected with COVID-19 while on duty. He inquired about their well-being and if they were receiving proper medical treatment, diet and other services in the hospital. He wished them quick recovery and went back to their respective duties fighting fit.

This small and simple gesture comes as a great morale booster for the brave sentinels of the society.
