Conditioning is improving in Bhopal and other districts of Madhya Pradesh

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in context to Coronavirus has said that the condition is improving in other districts of the state including Bhopal. A large number of patients are recovering and going home. Many districts are becoming infection free and the pace of infection is slowing down. No corona patient has been found positive in Shivpuri and Chhindwara districts for the last 16 days. Similarly, no positive case has appeared in Vidisha district in the last 11 to 12 days, he added.

Shri Chouhan along with Ministers and Senior Officers was reviewing with every district the status of Corona in the state and its related arrangements through video conferencing at Mantralaya today.

14 positive cases out of 989

As regard to the situation in Bhopal, it was reported that out of 989 Corona tests in Bhopal last day, 14 cases were found to be positive. Now the Professor Colony area is completely infection free. Chief Minister  Chouhan directed to make good arrangements in quarantine areas. Social distancing should be maintained and good arrangements of food etc. should be ensured, he added.

Decentralise Sabzi Mandis

Minister for Health Dr. Narottam Mishra directed that vegetable mandis outside the town should be further decentralized and the number of matadors and carts carrying vegetables should be increased.

Cancel licenses if private hospitals do not open

The Chief Minister directed that if any private hospital is not opened then action should be taken to revoke its license. The Chief Secretary directed that the Collector should form a team and find out whether the private clinics are working or not.

Persons whose samples have been taken should not go anywhere

Chouhan instructed that the persons, whose samples of corona test have been taken, should not go anywhere. They remain in quarantine. If they go anywhere, action will be taken against them.

Our testing is reached 2000 per day now

ACS Health Mohammad Suleman informed that 12 labs for corona testing have been started in the state and our testing capacity has increased to 2000 per day. We have sufficient quantity of PPE kits, testing kits, masks, medicines etc. We are getting enough material from the Government of India.
