Dr. Randeep Guleria applauds Gujarat government’s efforts

Gujarat has made effective efforts to prevent the transition of Corona virus

Director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi Dr. Randeep Guleria and Dr. Manish suneja visited the civil hospital following the request made by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The CM had asked for medical experts to guide in the present condition of Covid-19 in Gujarat.

Additional Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar specially appointed officer for Covid -19 across the state had extensive discussions with these two senior doctors. They discussed on the treatment being provided to the patients, senior doctors discussed in detail their experiences, and knowledge regarding Covi-19.

After the visit of Civil hospital Guleria said that, Gujarat Government has made extensive efforts to prevent the transition of Corona Virus. Step taken by the State Government to reduce mortality rate are highly appreciated. At the same time the doctors and other staff here have treated the patients very kindly. It is a matter of pride for the nation that Gujarat has setup a 1200 bed hospital and the entire structure in a very short span, he added.

He also interacted with government and private doctors in the state as well as also meet the guided the frontline warriors on ground fighting against Corona virus. “People do not need to be afraid of it, but precautions are must.” One should consult doctor as soon as they notice any symptom of Covid-19. Elders and patients with comorbid symptoms when report after many days’ experience more trouble.

During the visit Health Secretary Dr. Jayanti Ravi, Hospital Superintendent appointed as OSD Dr. Prabhakar, Other specialist doctors and officials remained present.
