State Bank of India present medical kits worth about Rs.1-crore as its CSR to Gujarat Government to fight COVID-19


State Bank of India (SBI) presented a cheque of Rs.11,11,111 to Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani here today towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to fight novel coronavirus COVID-19.

SBI Chief General Manager Dukhabandhu Rath and General Manager Arvind Agrawal presented the cheque on behalf of 1,200 karma yogis of the bank as their generous voluntary contribution. They also presented medical equipment and kits worth about Rs.1-crore as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility to the Gujarat Government. This included 25 ventilators worth Rs.47-lakh, 5,000 PPE kits worth Rs.19.25-lakh, 50,000 gloves worth Rs.17.10-lakh and 3.50-lakh triple layer masks worth Rs.16.62-lakh
