CM reviews unlock arrangements

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that in order to control spread of Covid-19, all the DMs, SSPs/SPs, CMOs, Principals of Medical Colleges and Nagar Ayukt should meet regularly. They all should discuss and evolve effective and positive action to control Corona. He said that the implementation of a good action plan could well save the situation of Covid 19. The Covid death rate can be reduced by door-to-door survey, contact tracing, strong surveillance and more and more Rapid Antigen Covid Testings. Presiding over the unlock review meeting at his official residence on Sunday, he said the people should be asked that they should not move out of their homes unnecessarily and always wear masks and maintain social distancing.

Chief Minister directed to ensure that all needy get foodgrain. He said that the persons without ration cards should be provided with the ones to enable them to get ration. All the Covid and Non-Covid hospitals should have adequate health facilities and availability of medicines. Besides being cleaned and sanitised from time to time, the hospitals should necessarily have adequate number of ambulances, wheel chairs and stretchers as well as the oxygen. He said that there should be regular check up of cattle in cow-shelters. The availability of green fodder should also be ensured. He said that there should be public announcements about employment in MNREGS works so that those seeking jobs may get benefited. The CM asked Agriculture, Irrigation, Horticulture and other departments to prepare an action plan to provide jobs to maximum persons. He said the more employment in Agriculture, Food Processing and MSME department can help herald a new era of development in the state. Chief Minister asked the departments of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Urban Development should continue to work for sanitisation and fogging. The supply of potable drinking water should be ensured. He said the Health and Medical Education departments should ensure that the doctors take regular rounds in the hospitals while the paramedics monitor the condition of patients. Reiterating that the self-motivation is a must to save oneself from Corona, he said the maintenance of social distancing, use of masks, avoiding venturing out of homes unnecessarily and preventing crowd gathering are some of the effective preventive measures. Asking to show unity in this hour of crisis, the CM said that use of sanitiser and washing hands with soap can also prevent us to a great extent.
