Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that the Covid infected persons from children to elders have been successfully treated. The treatment of critical patients has also been done well. He asked the medical fraternity to study the case history and treatment method of the successfully treated patients and do research as much as possible. It will help bring out efficient treatment of Corona, he added. Presiding over the Unlock review meeting at his official residence on Saturday, he asked to ramp up Rapid Antigen Covid testings. He said the persons found suspect in the door-to-door medical survey, should be subjected to rapid Antigen testings. If somebody is found Covid positive, they should be sent to Covid hospitals immediately. The CM directed to increase the number of ambulances in all the districts. Asking to set up Integrated Command and Control Centre at the district level, he said through this Centre, the medical screening, ambulance services and all the activities for survey and all the activities regarding prevention of Covid-19 should be organised. He laid emphasis on contact tracing for effective control on the Corona spread.

He said the proper implementation of cleanliness and sanitisation drive should be ensured on Saturday and Sunday. The active participation of the public is a must for this hence the people are advised to not venture out from their homes. He also directed the senior administrative officers to do intensive monitoring of the drive in the districts they are in-charge of. Chief Minister said that the spray of anti-larva chemicals and fogging should be done during the drive. The testing of the purity of drinking water and cleaning of water tanks should be accorded special care. He also directed to do away with the water-logging and asked the departments of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Urban Development, Health and Medical Education to work in tandem to check the Covid and other vector diseases. He further directed to do regular monitoring of Covid and Non-Covid hospitals. He said that the vaccine or medicine of Corona has not been produced so far and the sustained caution only can save from the Covid-19. Laying stress on the publicity, he said the people should be told to move out from their homes when it is extremely necessary. He said the masks and social distancing are very important when you move out. He asked to carry on with the training of health personnel to protect them from the medical infection.

CM asked to take effective steps to save police personnel from the infection. He said the police personnel on enforcement duty should use masks, gloves and sanitiser regularly.
