CM announces special assistance for these families

On the first day of his successful fifth year regime in Gujarat, Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani showing a special sentiment for 35-odd late Corona warriors, who laid down their lives on line of duty, held frank and open minded conversations with their  family members at his official residence in Gandhinagar, today.

Expressing his condolence to the family members of these late employees of various department of the state government who died due to Corona transition they contracted while discharging their duty. Chief Minister also announced some special assistance from the state government for these families. Rupani said that this world-wide pandemic of Corona has changed completely changed our life style. And, majority countries of the world have been affected by this pandemic.

Chief Minister also paid tributes to these deceased employees. He also pointed out that the state government has given an assistance of Rs. 25 lakh to the family members of each of these employees from the Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF). Announcing more assistance for these families, Chief Minister said that the state government would help the children of these families in getting admission in governmental medical-engineering colleges without applying norms of income limit and their present percentile. The families which don’t have their own house would be given priority in allocating the houses in the various governmental housing schemes.Beside these,Rupani also announced a few other assistances for these families. Chief Minister also honoured these employees by awarding a citation certificate, shawl and memento to their family members.
