Asserting that the testing is an important component in Covid 19 control, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed to do 1.50 lakh Covid tests per day without fail. He particularly paid stress to ramp up Covid testings in Kanpur Nagar, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Gorakhpur. Presiding over a high-level unlock review meeting at Lok Bhawan here on Wednesday, he said that the ventilators / High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) should be kept functional in all the districts and a report in this regard should be submitted to the government by this evening. Directing to ensure availability of dialysis machines in the Covid hospitals, he said that dedicated dialysis machines should be made available for Hepatitis B patients in every district.
CM directed to maintain at least 48-hour oxygen backup in the Covid and the Non-Covid hospitals. Similar arrangements should be done in Health and Medical education departments hospitals as well. He further directed to keep in touch with the home-isolated patients from district level as well as through CM Helpline. He also asked to undertake cleanliness and sanitisation work effectively as the vector disease are generally on rise in the month of September. He said the punctuality of government employees in the offices should be ensured and regular monitoring for the same has to be done and the erring employees should also be punished.
Chief Minister directed that the canals should be run with full capacity as per the roster so that the farmers get sufficient water for irrigation. He warned against any laxity in ensuring proper availability of fertiliser. The survey should be conducted at the earliest to assess the damage due to floods and subsequently the payment of compensation to the farmers be made. He also instructed to distribute relief amount timely in case of damage to houses in the flood-hit areas. He announced to hold Divisional Review Meetings during which the Divisional Commissioners will give presentation about the developmental projects worth over Rs 50 crore. The DMs will give presentation of the developmental schemes of their respective districts. He further directed to expedite implementation of Smart City and Amrut projects and hold regular progress review of these.
