On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda ji’s birth anniversary and National Youth Day, Delhi BJP Yuva Morcha launched “Chalo Banayen Atamnirbhar Yuva” campaign at the state office today. The program was addressed by Union Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur and MP Gautam Gambhir. The program was presided over by the State Youth Morcha President Vasu Rukhar. State General Secretary Harsh Malhotra, State Media Head Naveen Kumar and BJYM former Media In-charge Shivam Chhabra and state, district and mandal office bearers along with hundreds of karyakartas were present on the occasion.

Union Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur while addressing the karyakartas said that, “Narendranath Dutt, known as Swami Vivekananda, had said that India will become the Vishwa Guru in the 21st century and today’s Narendra is progressive to make India the Vishwa Guru. At very young age Swami Vivekananda’s achievements at the global stage put India’s name on the map and his precious thoughts give us new purpose to live life and inspire us from generation to generation. India’s most beloved intellectual and spiritual Guru Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January 1863 in Calcutta and his childhood name was Narendranath Dutt. The name ‘Swami Vivekananda’ was given to him by his Guru Ramakrishna Paramahansa ji and later Swami Vivekananda established the Ramakrishna Mission for service work of the society. Swami Vivekananda taught us that nothing happens if we run away from the situation, we should go ahead and face the situation.” He quoted, ‘’Pareshaniyon Se Bhagna Aasan Hota Hai, Har Mushkil Zindagi Me Ek Imtehan Hota Hai, Harne Wale Ko Kuch Nahe Milta Zindagi Me, Aur Mushkilo Se Ladhne Waloun Ke Qadmo Me Saara Jahan Hoota Hai’’. He further said that, India is the country with the largest youth population in the world, which is determining the present and future. At the time of the global pandemic Corona under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the youth made people aware, distributed masks which resulted in India being one of the countries with the lowest mortality rate from corona.

Anurag Thakur said that, the Delhi government did nothing during the Corona epidemic but BJP karyakartas did the work of providing food-ration and all possible help to the migrant workers and the needy. We have to make every section of Delhi aware of the public welfare policies of the Modi government and its benefits as well as connect them with those policies. The contribution of youth is the highest in the country, so we need to know our role. We have to ensure expansion of schemes like Startup India, Standup India, Make in India, Digital India and make India the country with the most skilled manpower in the world. We have to fulfill the resolve to make India a Vishwa Guru under the leadership of Modi ji.

Gautam Gambhir said that, Swami Vivekananda was such a great man, a man like him is born once in centuries and we are proud that he was an Indian. Swami Vivekananda had said that if we have to face disappointment in life, then to consider ourselves weak is the biggest sin, we should implement his thoughts in our life and never give up. Sharing political experience, he said that there is a fight between the ideology of the two parties but Delhi has a government headed by Arvind Kejriwal, who can go to any extent to gain power. The future of the country is in the hands of the youth and they will also decide the direction of the country, so the youth should also enter politics. The country has already given you the identity of being an Indian, so do not think what the country is giving you but think what you can contribute to the country. The ideology of the Bharatiya Janata Party is to empower the country and the youth must contribute to it.

State Yuva Morcha President Vasu Rukhar said that, Swami Vivekananda taught us arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached. We have pledged to make the youth, up to the Mandal level, self-reliant through the “Chalo Banayen Atamnirbhar Yuva” campaign.
