“Government is committed to provide all financial assistance for development of municipalities; 425 TP Schemes approved during last 5 years,” says Vijay Rupani
Chief Minster Vijay Rupani launched city bus transport facility in the Navsari-Vijalpor municipality area in ten different routes through video conference.
Congratulating the people of Navsari, he said that CNG bus service should prove helpful for the poor and middle class, and at the same time reduce air pollution and save the environment. He said that Navsari has been included today among 30 ‘A’ category municipalities in the state where the city bus transport service has been launched. He said that development works totalling Rs.37-crore have been undertaken for Navsari town during the last five years.
Chief Minister said the state government has approved 425 Town Planning (TP) Schemes during the last five years. Not a single TP Scheme is pending at present. He asked the municipalities to prepare their development plans and his government will provide adequate finances.
He said that his government is committed for all round development of municipalities and urban development should not linger due to paucity of funds. The mantra is maximum development with minimum resources.
Even as the nation is celebrating 75th anniversary of Independence on August 15, he called for realising the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide basic amenities and remove poverty, unemployment and corruption and make India self-reliant (Atmanirbhar).
