Government is sensitive to their demands
The Union Railway, commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has said the three farm laws have been made keeping in mind the interest of farmers and if there are any misgivings on them, they can always be sorted out provided the agitating farmers came out with some concrete suggestions on the same. Addressing a news conference at BJP state office here on Sunday on the Aatm Nirbhar budget, minister said that the government is sensitive to farmers can be gauged from the fact that the Prime Minister Narender Modi has made it clear that he is just a phone call away.
He charged the opposition and certain vested elements for creating confusion and misgivings on these laws and said they are made keeping in mind benefits of all sections of the society and are hence beneficial to the entire farm community. There are several new schemes and plans in the budget for farmers to help them grow their product and income appreciably, he added. Piyush Goyal took the opportunity to strongly condemn the violent incidents on the Republic Day saying this has dented the image of the country in the world. “Iss ghatna ne desk ki aan, baan ,shaan ko ghera dhakka pahuchaya hai”, he added. Minister made it clear the government wants to take everyone together in making the country Aatm nirbhar.
