The Indian Institute of Management Raipur is organizing the 4th International conference on Digital Economy (ICDE). This two-day event will be organized during 3rd- 4th December 2021 and will be conducted online. The theme of the conference is ‘Creating a Responsible and Responsive Digital Society’. Inauguration will be followed by a keynote speech on the topic, “Digital Wellbeing in the post pandemic era” by Prof. Monideepa Tarafdar, Professor (University of Massachusetts Amherst). ICDE aims to deliberate on pertinent issues and challenges related to the digital economy and digital ecosystem.
Several research papers will be presented across parallel tracks on topics including Advanced Research in Technology Management, Analytics and Decision Sciences, Advances in Consumer Behaviour Research, Application of Information Systems Organization Performance, Asset Pricing, Banking and other Financial Institutions, Branding and Digital Marketing Studies, Contemporary Issues in Career Management, Decision Sciences Applications, E-commerce Research, HRM and Agile Workspace, and many more.
Along with the participation from research scholars across the country, the conference receives support from academics, the industry, and practitioners as well. Professor Sumeet Gupta, Conference Co-Chair (ICDE), Professor (IT and Systems) will introduce the Conference Perspective and schedule followed by welcome address by Professor Bharat Bhasker, Director (IIM Raipur). A panel discussion on the topic Creating a Responsible and Responsive Digital Society by Professor Moutusy Maity (Professor of Marketing, IIM Lucknow), Dr. Karnika Seth (Advocate, Supreme Court of India), Mr. Anupam Dutta, Partner (Advisor) (Price Waterhouse Cooper), moderated by Prof. Sumeet Gupta, (Professor of IT & Systems, IIM Raipur).
On second day, conference will resume with a speech on topic, “Preparing for publishing in Top Journals” by Prof. H. Raghav Rao, University of Texas at San Antonio, followed by paper presentation on various topics and A Talk from Senior Editor (Information Systems Journal) Prof. M.N. Ravishankar, Prof. of Globalization and Technology, Loughborough University.
The panel discussions, talks, paper presentations, and workshops will allow both academics and industry to jointly explore the research opportunities and extend their networks.
