Ahmedabad, November:

Rashmi Agdekar, who is known for her various acting abilities and engaging persona, is quite active on social media and knows how to attract the attention of her followers. For her appearance in the online series Intern 2, the Andhadhun actor has received a lot of appreciation. Our Bollywood queen, Rashmi Agdekar, has stated her wish for such a transformation in her roles.

When theatres were closed, many major films were released on OTT first as originals. Now that the theatre has reopened as Covid-19 cases continue to decline in state, many huge pictures were released on OTT first as originals. Such films will now be released in theatres first, followed by OTT distribution. This eliminates a major marketing strategy used by OTT platforms. Rashmi Agdekar being a consistent OTT actor, Rashmi Agdekar said, “I don’t think that should happen. Watching a series on our personal screens and watching a film in cinemas are different experiences altogether. The pandemic gave us a chance to develop a liking to OTT content, but both hold their own places in entertainment and everyone’s preference will differ. I don’t want OTT platforms and Cinemas to compete with one another but rather coexist and flourish together.”

Rashmi Agdekar began her acting career in the online series “Dev DD” in 2017 and went on to play the main part in the critically praised MX player film “I’m Mature” in 2018. She co-starred in the Amazon Prime web series “Rasbhari” with Swara Bhaskar. She also made her Bollywood debut in the film “Andhadhun,” which she co-starred in with Ayushmann Khurrana. Rashmi Agdekar will be unveiling her exciting new ventures soon.
