Addressing a press conference held at the state office, Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta thanked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Corona vaccination campaign starting on 16 January. He informed that Delhi has been given 2 lakh 74 thousand doses of Covishield vaccine free by the Modi government in the first phase. In Delhi, the Corona vaccine will first be given to the frontline Corona Warrior i.e. doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, health workers, government teachers. State Media Head Naveen Kumar and State Spokesperson Richa Pandey Mishra were present on the occasion.
State President Adesh Gupta thanked all those involved in the vaccine campaign, whether the vaccine transporters, doctors, health workers, green corridor police, defense personnel, and scientists. He also thanked the Delhiites for their cooperation and patience in the battle against Corona. He said that, due to the commitment and diligence of the scientists of the country in making the vaccine, India has become the only country where two corona vaccines have been made.
He further said that, Delhiites suffered a lot due to both lack of beds in hospitals and timely treatment during Corona pandemic due to which the Home Minister Amit Shah, under the leadership of Modi government, intervened twice and took care of Delhi’s poor health system. Today, the people of Delhi are also thanking PM Modi, whose tireless efforts and foresight, the Corona vaccine campaign is starting. It is Modi ji’s sensitivity and affection towards the countrymen, the result of which is that we will move towards making the country corona-free by taking the Corona vaccine. Adesh Gupta has appealed to Delhiites to follow the Corona protocols. Wearing mask and maintaining social distance is still extremely important and the responsibly of everyone.
